The school has a number of policy documents, in accordance with the DfES directives, covering the following:

• Health and Safety
• Personal, Social and Health Education
• Sex Education
• Special Educational Needs

These documents explain how we would deal with the above issues should they arise. Copies are available on request from the School office.

School has a written Code of Conduct that outlines our expectations of pupils' behaviour. We ask parents to cooperate with us in the implementation of this policy, a copy of which will be sent with the enrolment form. The Code of Conduct agreement is a tool for maximum partnership between school and home.

In accordance with DfES recommendations, Wakefield Tutorial Preparatory School has a Complaints Procedure, copies of which are made available on request from the School Office.

All pupils wear a school uniform, which is compulsory. A uniform list is sent out after enrolment.
